206th Founder’s Day

On June 18th, the Dexter community gathered together to celebrate Dexter’s 206th year manufacturing cutlery in the United States. This annual celebration, known as as Founder’s Day, honors Dexter’s rich history of American knife making—a craft that has shaped our community in Southbridge, MA and has positioned Dexter as an industry leader in cutlery manufacturing. Current and former employees joined the festivities to recognize the work of those before them as well as embrace the work ahead. Special congratulations to this years Hall of Fame inductees: Bob Warner and Marc “Archie” Archambault for their exceptional dedication to their customers and craft.
